Fall is in the air...well sort of!

So today is Nov. 1 and most places have been feeling the fall temperatures and seeing the fall colors. Well not us! We have been seeing the same ol colors and feeling the same ol temperature...HOT! haha..so I decided to try and bring in some "fall-ness" by making pumpkin bread. Meredithe e-mailed me a great reciepe so I decided to give it a try...

All the ingredients...We had to buy almost everything because Tyler and I don't have the "standard" house ingredients like flour...baking soda...vanilla...etc.

I was able to make 3 loaves with this recipe!



It caused lots of dishes...but I did clean them all!

So here is what it looked like after they were done. We also made homemade icing to go ontop! Actually, Tyler helped and made that part for me. So we were nervous to try it, but it turned out awesome!! I brought a loaf over to Jamie's for a cookout, brought one loaf into work, and then gave Jeff half of a loaf. It was a pretty big hit everywhere! If you want to reciepe, let me know!!

I was also excited because the whole time I was cooking, I got to wear my apron!! haha...
